Terms of Service

Last updated: April 3, 2026

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using Pipelingo ("Service"), operated by Covenant Data Solutions ("we", "us", "our"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

2. Description of Service

Pipelingo is a data pipeline monitoring and observability platform. The Service connects to your data warehouse (e.g., Snowflake) to monitor pipeline health, provide AI-powered failure analysis, and send alert notifications.

3. Accounts and Organizations

You must provide accurate information when creating an account. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials. Each user may belong to one organization. Organization owners and admins are responsible for managing member access and permissions.

4. Data Source Connections

When you connect a data source (e.g., Snowflake), you represent and warrant that you have proper authorization to connect that data source and grant Pipelingo access to query metadata and pipeline execution history. You are solely responsible for ensuring you have the necessary permissions from your data source provider.

5. Data Handling

We access your data warehouse solely to retrieve pipeline execution metadata (query history, execution status, timestamps, and performance metrics). We do not access, copy, or store your underlying business data. Data source credentials are encrypted at rest using industry-standard encryption (AES-128/Fernet). See our Privacy Policy for full details.

6. AI-Powered Analysis

Pipelingo uses third-party AI services (Anthropic Claude) to analyze pipeline failures and generate summaries. When you request an analysis, the pipeline query text and error information are sent to the AI provider for processing. AI-generated analyses are provided "as is" and should be reviewed by qualified personnel before acting on recommendations.

7. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

  • Use the Service for any unlawful purpose
  • Attempt to gain unauthorized access to other users' data or accounts
  • Interfere with or disrupt the Service or its infrastructure
  • Reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble any part of the Service
  • Use the Service to store or transmit malicious code
  • Exceed rate limits or abuse API endpoints

8. Service Availability

We strive to maintain high availability but do not guarantee uninterrupted access to the Service. We may perform maintenance, updates, or modifications that temporarily affect availability. We are not liable for any downtime or data loss resulting from service interruptions.

9. Intellectual Property

The Service, including its design, code, and documentation, is owned by Covenant Data Solutions. Your data remains yours — we claim no ownership over any data you connect to or process through the Service.

10. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Covenant Data Solutions shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including loss of data, revenue, or profits, arising from your use of the Service. Our total liability shall not exceed the amount paid by you to us in the twelve months preceding the claim.

11. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access to the Service at any time for violation of these Terms. You may terminate your account at any time. Upon termination, your stored credentials will be deleted and your data will be removed in accordance with our Privacy Policy.

12. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of material changes via the email associated with your account. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
